Not true. It all depends on how (and why) you drink it. If you drink to get drunk, then yes, it is not classy. However, a well chosen wine can hugely enhance the food it is paired with. (as can a well chosen beer or spirit) The purpose of drinking it is as much for the flavour as it is for the alcohol. When you start choosing drink on taste rather than alcohol content you realise this. |

I would agree with you...These are glorified drinks with fancy bottles and lables, but they are all alcohol..And this is a huge detriment to the individual and the society at large. |

I don't think you're getting the point of wine. It's to accompany and accentuate the flavors of the foods that it's paired with. Drinking wine on its own is fine, but try pairing it with the appropriate foods and you'll be amazed at how different the wine and the food will taste. Also, try some _good_ wine, not that stuff in a box. Fine wine is a totally different experience. |

You poor little thing. All tight-fisted and red faced, throwing rocks at the kids out having more fun than you, resenting them for not being your friend. Did you daddy drink too much, was that it? |
