I am looking to buy a beer and wine store that already exists. I just need a loan to pay for inventory and coolers etc. (I'm female) What type of loan should I be looking for?

Ask your local bank about SBA loans. (Small Business Association). Because you are a woman, you already have an advantage. The loans are backed by the government, and usually have decent interest rates. Good luck in your new business!!!

Yes, and... Look into: 1) The value of the property that houses the store - is it a nice bldg or run down? 2) Is it a lease for rent or to buy the bldg - look into that 3) Look into the value of the existing inventory - try to make a deal where you buy half of it or at a reduced rate. As for the loan - SBA is a good suggestion, but private investors are good as well.
