A boutique specialty retail wine store focusing on artisanal wine, that is i.e., not directly competing with Costco and supermarkets . Assume the store would be in an area with many interesed wine drinkers e.g., SF Bay Area, Seattle, Chicago etc.

If there are any wine retailers out there, I'm wondering if your staff examine the wine bottles as you are putting them out on the shelves. If there are bottles that clearly have evidence of damage or ill treatment, do you have the ability to pull them before shelving and send them back to the warehouse? I've often seen leaky or stained bottles on the shelves.
