In this case, a "flight " means a wine tasting of multiple wines. It could be anything from winery tasting, with 3 or 4 locally-produced varieties, to a tasting of 50 or more wines, from the same vineyard or region. I've never been a member of a wine club, but I suspect that the "flight " they described is a brief tour/ tasting in a small winery. That doesn't mean it won't be fun and educational; it just means the wine varieties will be limited, and the excursion won't take you to multiple countries. |
