White Wine Information

Question: Whats a substitute for white wine when making shrimp scampi?

I'm tryin to make shrimp scampi but have no white wine i was jus wondering wat else i could use as a replacement for it....

Shrimp stock ideally, but if you don't have that you could use chicken stock.

Chicken broth/ stock...sherry... really any liquid could be used, you just want flavor

Dry vermouth works really well.
