Two ways, you can test the ABV during the wine brewing process with a hydrometer (which you can get at a brew store) also they make strips that give you a estimated reading of ABV after fermentation process. but you should do research on the brewing process of commercial wine vs the home brew process, that is where you will find your answer. Normally most home brewers take great care in their wine/ beer and you should see that the ingredients and the fermentation time differ greatly between the two. |
