Port Wine Information

Question: What can i use instead of red wine, white wine, and port wine when cooking?

Do i use vinegar? juice? or simply add more stock?

Use stock to replace wine.... Use chicken stock to replace white wine and beef or veal stock to replace red. Wont taste exactly the same but will be close and give the same effect to your dish, it will give the same kind of depth of flavour. :)

Vinegar is sour wine so no. Use tomato puree and a stock cube

Use some vinegar and some honey. We also usually add lemon juice.

Apple Juice or Cranberry Juice, depending on the type of dish.
