Question: When we buy wine it says on the back of the label once opened consume within 2 days, why?

Does the wine go "bad " after 2 days or something? We just don't get it? Thanks

As soon as you open the bottle, wine starts interacting with air which creates a chemical reaction giving the vinegar taste after few days. As soon as you open the bottle, keep the lid/ cork on when you are not pouring it, keep it in a relatively dark space without direct exposure to day light, keep it in a relatively chilled space with moderate heat swings and drink it as quick as you can.
